Eleven in Heaven
Although time is not defined in heaven For us left behind, today marks 'eleven' Years of longing and insurmountable grief Your impact so huge, yet your days so brief Memories on repeat so they won't perish The grainy photos I've learnt to cherish What we shared was a bond like no other How honoured I am to have called you brother I yearn for that precious, promised day Where we bid goodbye to death and decay When our sorrow fades and tears are no more As they're washed away by eternity's shore
